While consumer privacy laws have traditionally been few and far between - with the United States, the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA), and Europe, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), leading the pack - other countries and US states are quickly following suit with similar data privacy laws. These laws are creating an uphill battle for corporations as more laws come into effect. The best possible solution for corporations is to develop a program where Privacy is by Design. Clarip, for the next few months, will be running a series of webinars on Privacy by Design. Make that uphill battle a mere speed bump with Clarip.
The chief goal among these laws is the right to opt-out of the sale of information for marketing purposes - known as the Do Not Sell rule. This rule safeguards users from having their data shared, sold and/or used by technology corporations and gives legal grounds to protect their data from future activities.
Join Clarip, in our Privacy by Design series, as we discuss Do Not Sell and what that means to your organization, and how organizations can be better prepared with Clarip data governance tools.
